The advert, published in magazines for the Kaiser Chiefs is advertising their next gig in Leeds. It has the necessary place, date, and information on where and how to buy tickets. The websites are very useful and user-friendly as the readers know exactly where to buy tickets from. Despite the layout being quite simple, the large bold 'Kaiser Cheiefs' logo is in the centre of the page and very bold, which attracts readers attention. This logo is also used on other merchandise of theirs, therefore fans can make that distinction, and attract more attention. Despite the background being quite minimal, it is quite mysterious and bright, which adds effect to the bands image and genre, which would appeal to the audience. It suggests that the gig will be exciting and something that they do not want to miss! This advertisement synergises with other advertisements that I have analysed in a minimal way. Obviously, they share the same information on dates, and venues. But the individual fonts often link to the fonts that are on their CD and album covers, as it is used as a marketing tool so that people recognise the band.
The advertisement includes 'Plus Special Guests'. This would entice the audience to buy tickets as it creates suspense and is therefore a good marketing technique. They have not put 'to be announced...' because otherwise people would wait until lit was announced instead of buying their ticket. The logos at the bottom of the page are the sponsors for the gig. THis is more for the benefit of the companies then the band
